Transition team receives subcommittee reports ahead of power handover

The Transition Team, tasked with overseeing the handover of government operations, received reports from its various subcommittees at a meeting on Friday, December 27, 2024.

The meeting, which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre, is part of measures to ensure a smooth and efficient transfer of power and responsibilities across different governance sectors.

In a statement issued by the team’s spokespersons, Fatimatu Abubakar and Felix Kwakye Ofosu, it was disclosed that all the sub-committees successfully presented their reports with the exception of the Social Sector Sub-Committee.

No reason was given for the failure of the Social Sector Sub-Committee to present its report.
