A member of the NPP’s Bono Regional Communications Team, Mr Twumasi, has been recognized for what can be described as a ”prophetic statement” made on Sunday, January 21, 2024 on a local radio station in Sunyani.
Mr. Kwaku Twumasi as an influential communicator of the NPP in the Bono Region and the spokesperson for the then Parliamentary Candidate for Sunyani West, Lawyer Frimpomaa disclosed the intention of the NPP’s Bono Regional Chairman, Mr Kwame Baffoe for his actions.
According to Mr Twumasi, the intention of the NPP’s Bono Regional Chairman was for Hon Ignatius Baffour Awuah as incumbent Member of Parliament to win the the parliamentary primaries and subsequently lose in the general election so that he, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, can take advantage of it and contest for the seat in the 2028 elections to become the next Member of Parliament for Sunyani West.
In a studio interview with the host of Ark Fm on their Sunday Political program dubbed ”issues on Ark Fm” Mr Twumasi emphatically alleged that the reason Kwame Baffoe as the Regional Chairman, leading the campaign for the election of Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah in the parliamentary primaries is for the Baffour Awuah to lose in the general election to pave way for him to replace him as the next Parliamentary candidate for the NPP for Sunyani West.
The results of the parliamentary elections for the Sunyani West has subsequently confirmed the lose of the NPP’s incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah to the NDC’s young lady, Hon. Millicent Yeboah Amankwah.
