The Ghana police service has enhanced security measures for the collation of four outstanding Constitutuencies in the Eastern Region.
The Four outstanding collation have been relocated to the national police training school (NPTS ) at tesano in Accra , which is currently ongoing with a fortified security presence of police and military to ensure the safety and security of the process.
One of the Constitutuencies has been successful completed, leaving three which collation proceses are still ongoing as of now.
A similar arrangement has been made in the Ashanti and Bono East Regions for the remaining collations where the police are waiting for the Electoral Commission to Confirm the data for thses exercises.
The police whish to assure the public that adequate security has been provided to enable Electoral Commission officials to carry out their duties without obstruction.
