The Bono Regional Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress strongly cautions all outgoing government appointees and party members to desist from any attempts to steal state properties or engage in activities that could disrupt a peaceful transition of power.
It has come to our attention that some individuals may be contemplating actions that would deprive the state of its rightful resources or undermine the integrity of the transition process. Let it be made abundantly clear that the youth of the NDC will not tolerate such acts.
In addition, we would want to send a stern warning to the NPP regional chairman for Bono Region, Kwame Baffoe, Alias Abronye that, we are aware of the motor bicycles and other items in his custody, we are by this release issuing a seven day ultimatum to him for the release of all those items in his custody or face a serious youth action in the subsequent day and we believe that, a word to the wise is enough.
We stand resolute in our commitment to safeguarding state resources and ensuring a smooth and orderly transfer of power. Any attempt to loot or misappropriate state properties will be met with fierce resistance from the youth, who remain vigilant and ready to defend the interests of the nation.
We urge all outgoing officials to act responsibly, uphold the principles of good governance, and respect the will of the people. Let us all work together to ensure that this transition is marked by peace, integrity, and respect for the rule of law.
Signed,
Rashid Ahmed (Rooney)
Bono Regional Organizer, NDC.
