The high impact project primarily sort to promote the health and well being for children battling more nutrition hense the choice of faces Marlin Louis children hospital, which is the leading Children’s hospital in Ghana that comparitivly serves many more nutrition cases within the Accra Metropsolis and beyond.
It has been patient and out patient that prevents, promote, restore and improves the nutritional status of the nutritional vulnerable , our partnership with PML began in March this year after the first team visited the hospital and was immediately presented with the challenges of the nutrition rehab center. The team followed up a couple of more visits, and made serval calls with the head of the NRC , Madam Bernice Okai.
In the quest fully understand the needs the center as well as the need of the parents and children who patronize facility .
Hearing the touching stories of parents who nearly lost their babies due to more nutrition and how the center intervene to save this babies was indeed a sovereign moment for the project here, we recognize that hunger is a complex issue and in addressing it requires a motive hacited approach.
As we commissioned this project , we remember that Lions international motto which is,”we serve our community,we serve our nation and we serve humanity as a whole.
