Bono NPP Deputy Regional Chairperson Accuses Headmasters, Teachers, And Matrons As The Prime Saboteurs Of The Free Shs Policy

Mrs. Kate Nana Yaa Amponsah Agyare, the Second Vice Chairperson of the Bono Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party, has sharply criticized headmasters, matrons, and teachers for allegedly besmirching the reputation of the Free SHS program by unlawfully pilfering and selling provisions meant for the students.

Speaking on GIFTs FM’s Morning Show, a radio station in Dormaa Ahenkro she communicated her frustration regarding the actions that, as she asserted, have impeded the seamless implementation of the Free SHS policy. Consequently, she urged everyone to refrain from such conduct to promote the nation’s progress.

Madam Kate Nana Yaa Amponsah Agyare revealed that voter apathy contributed to the NPP losing approximately five seats in the Bono Region during the 2020 general elections, largely due to internal party conflicts. She observed that all internal issues within the party have now been resolved, and they are optimistic about reclaiming the lost seats and securing additional ones to become the majority in parliament, thereby facilitating government affairs.
