National Security Touring All The 16 Region, Enhance Security Consciousness Among Citizen

The national security on it lunch of if you see something, say something campaign. the 16 region tour in Bono East in Yeji and Prang to meet the community and the Senior high schools in both Pru East and Pru Wast.

In Pru East, Yeji senior high School also have a chance to engage with the national security and the offices explain to the students about if you see something say something is all about. an enlighten them to be vigilant about some things that don’t help the community or the country, if such things are happening they should call toll free number 999 in report it to the national Security. and also come up with anchor name and that’s SALUTE and explain it to the students.

The headmaster of Yeji senior high School Mr. Mebemah Mohammed D, also added that, they are so grateful for having national security in the premises of the school to enlighten the student and the staff of the school, he added that Yeji senior high school fence wall is not full complete so they always get attack in the girls dormitory at night, so the national security to help them get the authority to help them complete their fence wall so that attached can not go on in the school, because the wall is not complete they always have security threats.

 

In Prang, Pru Wast we meet the chief of prang Madam Akosua Danquah Ntim Sekyere
Coordinator, of “If you See Something, Say Something” Campaign team explain the reason why if you see something, say something is good for the community and also the country. And the chief and his elders accept the campaign and ask some questions and also tell madam Akosua Danquah Ntim Sekyere, some of the things the security service are doing in the town.

 

Madam Akosua Danquah Ntim Sekyere, explain to the chiefs that all the security personnel have their name’s and their station ID number so if such things happen, they should just call the toll free number 999 to report it to the national security and they will take it from there. She also added that if such things are happening they should not be afraid to call the toll free number 999 and in case of reporting and the person saw you they should let the national security know that the person saw you when reporting and they will get you and your family security protection.

Also the campaign team meet Prang senior high school and educate them about if you see something, say something is all about, Mr Osei, explain to the students how to go by when they come across any object in the school or home that they don’t know who is for. they should let the security service know by calling 999 as toll free number and also seeing someone in their community or school for the first time and they don’t know what the person is for, they should report to the security service.
