Mr. Elvis Appiah kusi who is director for skill innovation for world universe service of Canada (WUSC) known as NGO which is the development organization established in Canada and about four to five years now Canadian government support to as to run a project which is called “INVEST” which stand as innovation in vocational education skills training.
Mr. Elvis Appiah Kusi brief the media that this project will support young girls who shows interest in technical education which is made for men such as Mason, Carpenter, Electrician , painting and wedding, support them to barracks the barrier between them.
Before these will exit in our daily life unless the NGOs with the mandatory to trained the young once as the law state GTVET as they separated from Ghana education service as we collaborate with them to found out that some schools don’t have equipment for their learning.
He said this under the theme “LUNCH AND LEARN” which was held in greater Accra region. He then urge all stakeholders to partner the project and with ministry of finance and GRA has something to support the stakeholders which is Tax incentive to support anyone who help the education.
Mr. Emmanuel Charry who is executive of Ghana chamber and contraction and industry lament that they are also looking for a way which they will get in touch with industry player to mate with collaborate with the industry player as the ministry of finance liberate on that there are funds to support them as CTVET and GTVET.
He added as industry they are one the who observed all the skill force as training young player CTVET and GTVET training people as they come only in the job market and you can train them on raw surface so you need to train them with all this we prepare them well wether internship and apprenticeship with all this preparing them for the job readiness.
Mr. Emmanuel Charry added that the industry can just buy equipment and give it to new the apprentices to come and handle it to them which much expensive.
now what the industry is wavering for is there must be conscious tax incentives which will help the industry that if such people can observe wether 20 or 40 for the internships.
when such exposure is given it will the industry to give equipment to the interns.
