Millicent Yeboah Amankwaa the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Sunyani West constituency in the Bono region has indicated that she is more vigilance in the Sunyani West constituency than ever, she said the party is determined to win the Sunyani West Parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 General Elections.
She noted that the party has cautioned executives and supporters of the party in the Sunyani West Constituency to avoid being induced by the ruling New Patriotic Party ahead of the 2024 General Elections.
“I am very optimistic about the victory in come election of 2024 and I will rely on the people of Sunyani West once again that together we are going to take this battle upon ourselves.”
She indicated that the last time the National Democratic Congress won the Sunyani West parliamentary seat was in 1996 and believes 2024 is the right time to reclaim the seat.
“Whatever happens in the 2024 elections, the NDC shall prevail; wherever any challenges emanated from in the last elections that allowed the NPP to manipulate the result to their favor, it won’t happen again.
She made the statement
when speaking on the Bono FM 107.5 Adekye Mu Nsem morning show with the host Kwame Lofty, a local radio station based in Odomase, Sunyani West Capital.
She therefore pleaded with the party supporters in the Sunyani Constituency to resist any temptation to be compromised by the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 General Elections.
