Hon. Isaac Adongo the member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central donated 50 motorbikes to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region of Ghana. Hon. Adongo, who is a developmental oriented person and known for such good gestures mentioned to the regional leadership of the party that his donation is targetted at supporting the NDC party runs its activities smoothly ahead of the December 7, 2024 general elections.
At the time of donating the motorbikes to the NDC party leadership, the Bolgatanga central legislator reemphasized his continuous commtiment to the NDC winning both presidential and parliamentary elections and forming the next government come January 2025 to overturn the misfortunes of Ghanaians caused by the inept government of the day. *The motorbikes were made up of 35 motorcycles going to constituencies that do not have their sitting Mp constesting the 2024 general elections such as Telensi constituency, Navrongo, Chiana Paga, Bongo, Binduri, Zelbilla and Garu constituencies. Each of the mentioned constituencies will receive 5 motorcycles, while 15 of the motorcycles go to Bolgatanga central constituency branch executives*.
In his interaction with leadership of the party in the region, *the economic messiah said*, “as we are gearing towards December 7 polls, it is important that the NDC as government in waiting pulls resources together to support the foward match of the party”. The Mp added, that we cannot win without team work, human resources of which the NDC already has, but it is now left with physical resources such as these motorbikes to enhance the operationalization of the activities. The mp explained that he is donating these motorbikes to support the party activities in the region. The ranking member of the Finance committee of Ghana’s Parliament said, it is only the NDC that can salvage the sinking economy and make Ghana a better place for Ghanaians.
The Upper East Regional Chairman of the party (NDC), Alhaji Mumuni Bolnaba, who recieved these motorbikes expressed his happiness and used that medium to thank Hon.Isaac Adongo and called on others to emulate such good gestures. The father of the NDC in the region said “we are grateful to you for your kind support”. He also advised other friends to equally come in and support the party because “we need more of this generosity to enhance our work to secure victory for the NDC and to salvage the sinking ecomony” he explained.
