Conduct your campaign with humility, respect – Otumfuo advises Samira

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has advised Samira Bawumia, the wife of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, to approach her campaign ahead of the upcoming elections with humility and respect.

During a courtesy call on Wednesday, October 9, as part of her one-week campaign tour of the Ashanti Region, the Asantehene encouraged Samira to focus on effectively communicating her plans, as well as those of her husband and their party.

He emphasized the importance of avoiding insults and acts of violence during the campaign.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II expressed his pleasure in seeing Samira Bawumia actively participating in the campaign and supporting her husband. His remarks reflect a call for decorum and civility in the political arena as the elections draw near.

“God is the maker of kings, so continue spreading your message. I also thank you for supporting your husband in his campaign, as men succeed when they are supported by good and dedicated wives. I give you my blessings as you embark on your campaign activities.”
