The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, says the next NDC administration will continue all cocoa road projects abandoned by the government.
Addressing NDC supporters at a rally in Datano in the Bodi Constituency as part of her three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed concern about the government’s abandonment of cocoa roads.
She said the government has failed to make its report on cocoa road projects public, after falsely accusing the Mahama administration.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang urged the people not to lose hope as the next NDC administration will continue all abandoned cocoa road projects in the area.
Touching on the cocoa sector, she said the NDC government will also bring back the free fertilizer programme as well as pay the right producer price to cocoa farmers.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang therefore urged the electorates to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama and NDC parliamentary candidates in the December general elections.
