The Omanhene of Wenchi, Osaagyefo Ampem Anyeh Amoapong Tabrako III, has made a clarion call on residents to stay united to foster development before, during and after the general elections.
The Wenchimanhene speaking at the coronation and 5th Anniversary on the throne emphasized the need for unity and peace as the way for development.
He called on investors in the diaspora to come to Wenchi for any developmental projects to boost the economic activities in the Municipality.
He said the chieftaincy drought in the area has hindered Wenchi with many development from all successive governments and urge to push hard a use his lobbying skills to bring more development to the area.
He however cautioned the youth against being exploited by politicians to cause mayhem and urged politicians to ensure a peaceful election before, during, and after the 2024 general election.
Meanwhile, the president of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osaagyefo Oseeadeyor Dr. Agyeman Badu II, also stressed the need for peace and unity among royal families, noting that Wenchi lacks behind in terms of development. He called for togetherness and support from residents to bring about development and encouraged Wenchihene to support the Bono agenda for development.
