The flag bearer of the national Democratic congress has reiterated the call to continue all abandoned projects when elected as president come December 2024 General.
Addressing a durbar at Wenchi, he called on Ghanaians to vote for him to continue all abandoned projects by all successive governments. He stressed that his government would not be in hurry to start new projects but would do that when the economy stands strong.
John Mahama was also worried about the neglect of the Wenchi township in terms of development.
The former president continues that, the NPP government has said they have constructed over 12000km of roads which he termed a purported liars and throughout his tour almost all major roads are in a deplorable state,
He also promised them of factories to enhance their economic activities.
Meanwhile, the Omanhene of Wenchi traditional council, Osaagyefo Ampem Anyeh Amoampong Tabrakoh III, appealed to NDC Flagbearer John Mahama to prioritize development in Wenchi if he wins the December 7 polls.
He appealed to John Mahama, not to forget Wenchi when he comes into power in 2025. He said Wenchi lacks road infrastructure development and urges him to establish a cashew factory, as the municipality is a cashew hub.
