The NDC Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama promised the people of Wenchi, especially cashew farmers, that his NDC next government would bring more hope and opportunities for people’s prosperity.
He said the party will work tirelessly to address the challenges facing the cashew industry and ensure that farmers receive fair prices for their produce.
Mahama made this pledge during a campaign rally in Wenchi, part of his four-day tour in the Bono region.
While speaking, the Omanhene of Wenchi traditional council, Osaagyefo Ampem Anyeh Amoampong Tabrakoh III, appealed to NDC Flagbearer John Mahama to prioritize development in Wenchi if he wins the December 7 polls.
He appealed to John Mahama, not to forget Wenchi when he comes into power in 2025. He Webchi lacks road infrastructure development and urges him to establish a cashew factory, as the municipality is a cashew hub.
