NDC National Disability Desk Communications Department Congratulates Hon. Joyce Gyamfi on Her Appointment as National Campaign Coordinator for Women with Disabilities

The NDC National Women’s Wing, under the distinguished leadership of the National Women’s Organizer, HON. DR. (MRS) HANNA LOUISA BISIW-KOTEI, has appointed the National Deputy Coordinator for the NDC Disability Desk, Hon. Joyce Gyamfi, as the National Campaign Coordinator for Women With Disabilities.

Hon. Joyce Gyamfi has contributed enormously to the well-being of Ghana through various social and political landscapes.

In 2020, Comrade Joyce was appointed and sworn in as the Deputy National Coordinator for the NDC Disability Desk.

The NDC Disability Desk was created in 2019 and inaugurated in 2020 with the aim of energetically mobilizing a significant number of votes among persons with disabilities and ensuring special attention, recognition, rewards, assistance, and opportunities when the party assumes office through the 2024 general elections. The estimated population of persons with disabilities in Ghana is over two million (2,000,000).

Hon. Joyce Gyamfi has served and continues to serve Ghana and the NDC in the following capacities:

1. National Coordinator for Women With Disability on National Women’s Wing Working Committee – 2024

2. National Campaign Coordinator for Women With Disabilities – 2024

3. Deputy National Coordinator for NDC Disability Desk – 2020 – date

4. Assembly Member (Government Appointee, Persons With Disability Representative) – 2013 – 2017

5. Brong Ahafo Regional Chairperson for Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled – 2013 – 2017

6. Brong Ahafo Regional Women’s Wing Chairperson for Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled – 2010 – 2014

7. Brong Ahafo Regional Gender Representative of the Ghana Federation of Disability Organizations (GFD) – 2011 – 2014
