I prefer Naana Jane to NAPO – Manasseh Azura Awuni

In a recent episode of #StarrChat with Bola Ray, celebrated investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni shared his insights on the political landscape, particularly his preferences between the running mates of the two major political parties in Ghana. During the engaging conversation, Manasseh expressed his preference for Nana Opoku, the running mate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), over Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), the running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Manasseh highlighted several reasons for his choice, citing Nana Opoku’s track record, leadership style, and vision for the country as key factors that influenced his opinion. He praised Nana Opoku for her dedication to public service and her ability to connect with the grassroots, which he believes is crucial for addressing the needs of ordinary Ghanaians.

While discussing NAPO, Manasseh acknowledged his contributions to the education sector and his political experience but expressed concerns about his approach to governance and policy implementation. He emphasized the importance of having leaders who are not only competent but also possess a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the average citizen.

The conversation delved into broader issues affecting the country, with Manasseh calling for greater accountability and transparency in government. He urged Ghanaians to critically assess the capabilities and intentions of political leaders to ensure that the nation’s interests are prioritized.

Manasseh’s remarks on #StarrChat have sparked discussions among listeners, reflecting the vibrant political discourse in Ghana as the nation approaches its next elections. His candid opinions and thorough analysis of the political figures in question continue to resonate with many Ghanaians, reinforcing his reputation as a respected voice in the media landscape.
