Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo has expressed her willingness to make justice delivery easily accessible for all Ghanaians.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, August 2, the Chief Justice noted that it is her prayer for Ghanaians not to feel traumatized whenever they want to access justice or approach the court with an issue.
“Everything being done here is not being done only by the Chief Justice, the Chief Justice is working with a team and as you can see most of my team members are very strong leaders in their own stead and it’s making my work easier.
“My prayer is that very soon people of Ghana will not feel traumatized when they are coming to court. This is really my heart that when somebody has a problem, they will find it easier approaching the court, the Chief Justice said.
The Chief Justice also indicated her commitment to deal with land litigation issues in Ghana including setting up a Committee with other Justices to look into land litigation matters.
