Akufo-Addo appoints new boards for GBC, three other state media outlets

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed new boards to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and three other state media outlets.

The appointments were made in accordance with article 168 of the Constitution and section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449).

The other three state media outlets with new boards include the New Times Corporation, Ghana News Agency, and the Graphic Communications Group Limited.

Below is the full list of appointees and respective media outlets.

In accordance with article 168 of the Constitution and section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449), the National Commission has, in consultation with H.E The President, appointed the following persons to the governing boards of public corporations managing the state-owned media.
