The Nandom Royal Palace has refuted media reports that the Palace has endorsed the Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP government.
In a press statement, the palace denied that claimed and set the record straight to the effect that the comment made were neutral of all political figures that visited the palace.

The Royal Palace of Nandom wishes to address a false report that has been circulating, alleging that His Majesty, Nandom Naa, made a series of statements in support of the current government during the visit of His Excellency Mahamudu Bawumia to the Paramountcy. This report is entirely false and without basis. It is the work of some mischievous individuals seeking to use Nandom Naa’s reputation to deceive the public
