4 years is enough to reset Ghana – Mahama

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has said that four years in office is enough for him to reset the country.

He says his first priority will be the creation of jobs which is why he has proposed the 24-hour economy, a policy he said would be linked to aggressive food production and modernization of agriculture.

“Four years is enough to reset the country,” he said during the launch of the NDC’s campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.

Mr Mahama further said that he would be truthful to Ghanaians at all times.

He says he will not tell the people what he cannot fulfill.

“I will be truthful to you, I will never tell you lies,” he said during the launch of the NDC campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.

Mr Mahama further said that change is calling Ghana in the 2024 general elections.

To him, the problems that have been created need new hands to solve them, not the very people who cause them.

“We solve problems with the same people who caused the crisis,” he said.

He added “it is not going to be easy, the more I look at the situation it is even worse than what the govt is telling us, it will take hard work and cooperation of the whole country”

He further assured Ghanaians that he would be truthful to them at all times.
