The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has called off its strike about salary structure.
In a statement, the Association explained that the move was a result of a fruitful meeting with government representatives on Friday 12th July 2024.
“The Government of Ghana represented by the Office of the Senior Presidential Adviser, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations (MELR) and Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) on one hand, and the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) on the other hand met on 12th July, 7024.
“The Parties showed commitment towards the resolution of pertinent issues relating to the salary structure for the Staff of the Civil Service and the Local Government Service.”
