Ablakwa Commends Local Government Minister for Halting Encroachment on Parks and Gardens Land

In a decisive move against land encroachment, Local Government Minister Mr. Martin Agyei-Mensah Korsah has received high praise from Member of Parliament Kudzeto Ablakwa for his intervention to stop the looting of Parks and Gardens land in the Upper West regional capital.

During a recent parliamentary oversight, Ablakwa discovered attempts to misuse the land designated for green spaces in Wa. His findings led to swift action from the Local Government Ministry to halt and potentially demolish an unauthorized fuel station project on the site.

Ablakwa emphasized the importance of preserving green spaces for the well-being of the community and the environment. “We need our green spaces preserved for our collective human survival,” he stated.

Highlighting the importance of patriotism and non-partisan unity, Ablakwa remarked, “When we rise and demand action as patriots, regardless of partisan considerations, we are capable of defeating the greedy, destructive, and marauding forces of ‘lootocratic’ darkness.”

He also issued a stern warning to those involved in corrupt practices, saying, “All those conspiring to entrench their devious State Capture agenda should realize at this point that they would have no peace from the Ghanaian people to enjoy their loot. State Capture shall surely be defeated!”

Ablakwa’s commendation of Mr. Korsah underscores the importance of vigilant oversight and prompt government action in safeguarding public resources and spaces. He concluded with a rallying cry, “For God and Country. Ghana First.”

This intervention sets a strong precedent for the protection of public lands and reinforces the commitment to environmental conservation in Ghana.
