Very soon you will have series of encounters with Bawumia – Akomea tells the media

Deputy Campaign Chair of the Bawumia campaign team, Nana Akomea has assured the media that very soon they are going to have a series of encounters with the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

He said this when answering a question on the New Central on TV3 Monday, July 8.

This comes after the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) held a major media encounter in Accra on Sunday, July 7.

Mr Mahama used the event to state his policy proposals ahead of the general elections.

Following the encounter, some persons called on Dr Bawumia to also meet the media.

For instance, a professor at the University of Ghana Business School, Kobby Mensah said in a Facebook post that “You too come and speak to the media and the nation and field questions.”

But Nana Akomea said “Very soon you will have an encounter or series of media encounters with Bawumia, you are going to get tired of it.”
