Attorney-General Godfred Dame has taken over the cross-examination of the third accused person in the Ato Forson trial, Richard Jakpa during proceedings on Thursday, June 27, TV3’s Laud Adu Asare has reported.
Prior to the proceedings on Thursday, the Director of Public Prosecutions Yvonne Atakorah Obuobisa had been cross-examining Jakpa to the admiration of Deputy Attorney-General Alfred Tuah-Yeboah.
Mr Tuah Yeboah said Atakorah Obuobisa did a good job. He dispelled claims that Madam Obuobisa was frustrated in the cross-examination on Tuesday, June 18.
When his attention was drawn by journalists after proceedings on Tuesday that at a point, the prosecutor appeared to be frustrated with the answers Richard Jakpa was giving he said “She was not frustrated, she did a yeoman’s job.”
