The National Communication Authority (NCA) has launched and outdoored the 7 member Disputes Resolution Commitee (DRC) which seeks to settle various disputes between entities in the telecommunications industry.
The jurisdiction of the DRC sworn into office, applies to disputes among different network operators or service providers, between network operators or service providers and a utility provider and network operator or service provider and a consumer.
Board Chair of the NCA, Okatakyie Ababio Boakye stated that, the DRC which will be open to the public on July 1st this year will be able to submit disputes for the consideration of Committee without any fees for few months.

According to him, the committee are well versed professionals in law, business telecommunications, engineering and acadamia thus ensuring effective and efficient adjudicatory services for stakeholders.
The Director General of the NCA Dr. Joe Anokye said the DRC is set to steer the affairs of the telecommunication industry independently and also to assure stakeholders to resolve all disputes timeously and fairly.
Patrick Anim Boateng who addressed on behalf of the committee said, the committee is in existence to serve consumers and its major focus is for consumers to be satisfied thus ensuring law enforcement when needed.
