A year after its release stirred controversy and intense discussion among the public, actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson, is set to release a sequel to her memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson”.
The memoir tells the story of the actress’s life growing up, her family, the battle to discover her true self, love life, abortion, and other intimate insights about her life.
She has expressed gratitude to the public for supporting her work a year after its publication, and has hinted of her intentions to release a part 2 of it.
A recent discussion of the responses she received about the memoir on social media gave a hint about what releasing what she described as the truth drowning in lies.
“The affection from those who understand! the animosity of people who haven’t read it! The disagreements and discussions from less courageous people, as well as the assessments from those with more sinister secrets… I took a step back, looked around, and thought to myself, truth, it is drowning in lies. Part 2? Let’s observe,” she stated.
She has also disclosed that one of the most satisfying experiences she has had since releasing the book is the benefits of the tour she embarked on, known as the “The Real Tour”.
Miss Nelson says the tour has granted her the opportunity to share unique moments with her audience throughout the period.
She also hinted of intentions to start dishing out free copies of the text.
