Youth Organizer bags Mahama’s 24-hour Economy message to Ho Market, Calls on Parents to Allow their wards to participate in the limited voter Registration

In continuation of his strategic efforts to ensure the victory of former President John Dramani Mahama in the 7th December 2024 polls, the Volta Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr. Mathias Johnson Alagbo has led a team of young volunteers and surrogates of the Volta NDC Youth Wing to the Ho market complex on Saturday, May 18 2024 with the message of Ghana working again if former president Mahama is re-elected in the 2024 polls.

The team which was well received by the market women encouraged the Ho market participants to have faith in Mahama’s 24-hour economy initiative adding that if implemented, would be the game changer to resurrect the dead economy under the “clueless, corrupt and nepotistic” leadership of the Nana Addo and Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia led NPP government.

The market visitation by Mr. Alagbo and the volunteers corps comes in the wake of his tour of various registration centers in the region to assess the progress, challenges, and opportunities in the ongoing registration process.

Charging parents to allow their wards who are eligible to vote to fully participate in the ongoing limited voter registration exercise, Mr Alagbo noted that, that can be the surest bet for President Mahama’s victory to rescuing them from the economic agony they have been subjected to by the NPP.

In his response to the numerous complaints expressed by the market women on the issues of escalating cost of living, hiper inflation and the difficulty of the current business environment, Comrade Alagbo assures them of President Mahama’s plans to get Ghana Working again by tackling issues of the economy head-on for instance, by establishing Women’s only Bank to support women in small and medium scale business and industry when elected on 7th December.

Comrade Alagbo posited that businesses have long suffered a heavy backlash of the inadequacy and incompetency of the Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia-led Economic Management team which saw the depreciation of the Ghana cedis from Ghc3.00 to $1.00 in 2016 to ghc15 to $1.00 in 2024.

Mr. Alagbo, the Regional Youth Organizer charged the market Queens and sellers to persevere and have faith in H.E. John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to restore the country which has lost its identity under the leadership of President Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo and Dr Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to the path of prosperity, progress, and peace. He thus assured the market women that President Maham would surely address their concerns and improve their livelihoods if given the nod to rule the country after the December 7th polls.
