The Agona West Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) honored the invitation of Nananom of Agona BOBIKUMA (Upper) to the launch of their Akwanbo Festival.
The Festival of Agona BOBIKUMA (Upper) Is a magnificent Agona celebration centered on ancestral reverence, remembrance and acknowledgement past chiefs and noble feast.
Mr Frank Freebody Mensah, the Agona West NDC Youth Organizer disclosed that, they humbling honored the invitation to the launch on the grounds that the festival serves as a celebration of the esteemed cultural vibrancy that brings the community folks together for a common goal.
“This esteemed cultural event celebrates the rich culture heritage and traditions of the people of Agona BOBIKUMA (Upper), and myself with my entourage were thrilled to be part of such a significant occasion”
He said the festival captures the vivid splendour, magnificence and rich culture heritage of Agona BOBIKUMA.
The workholic Youth Organizer was accompanied by the party big guns of the Agona West Constituency which include : Madam Georgina Osei (Akosua Obo) Constituency women Organizer, Hon.Kweku Takyi (Chairman Dollar), Branch Youth and Women Organizer within BOBIKUMA (Upper & lower), BOBIKUMA West Assembly member Hon.George Awotwe , ward Coordinators and other meaningful party fanatics.
Freebody Mensah added that, the presence of the aforementioned party faithfuls underscored the party’s commitment to embracing and supporting cultural festivities that brings Unity and community developments.
To spice up the event, Freebody Mensah introduced the “Beautiful Ladies” for NDC and Mahama to the people. The very club which he’s the patron.
The Club added a unique flair to the event and exhibited their spirit of community involvement and philanthropic work.
They made generous donation on behalf of the umbrella fraternity, adding that they’re dedicated to give support to local communities and cultural initiatives.
Freebody Mensah pledged to sponsor a “Street Artist Night” as part of the excitement package for the local folks. The said sponsorship will include the performance of the “One Corner” hit marker Patapaa and other artists to add clamour to the festival.
He reiterated that Agona West NDC is committed to unflinchingly support cultural events that unite communities and celebrate Ghana’s rich culture heritage.
