Akufo-Addo underscored terrorism as a critical threat to Africa, stressing the imperative for collaborative efforts to combat it. He emphasized that no single nation can effectively tackle terrorism alone, emphasizing the necessity for collective action.
The Ghanaian President urged leaders to prioritize cooperation and collaboration to effectively confront the menace, emphasizing the urgency of the situation and warning against complacency.
“As we gather here to address terrorism in Africa, we acknowledge the urgent need for concerted efforts to combat this great menace that continues to threaten the peace, security, and development of our continent.”
President Akufo-Addo stated, “Terrorism remains one of the most significant challenges facing Africa today, with its consequences reverberating across the continent, destabilizing communities, undermining governance structures, and impeding socio-economic progress.”
