NPP is now made up of kids who talk recklessly – Alan explodes

The founder and leader of the Movement for Change (M4C), Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has lashed out at members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who think he is no longer relevant.

He described these members as “kids” who talk recklessly.

“I won’t waste my time on them,” he stated.

The former Minister of Trade and Industry was speaking passionately in an exclusive interview on Onua FM‘s Pae Mu Ka on Thursday, April 18.

Mr Kyerematen resigned from the NPP last year to form M4C, seeking to contest the December 7 elections as an independent presidential candidate.

He has since formed an alliance with other political groupings. The Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) aims at winning the upcoming presidential polls.

The founding member of the NPP said he was pushed out of the ruling party because the new kids were talking recklessly.

He later outlined his track record before leaving the party, stressing that it even outweighs many of the loudmouths in the party.

“All those who were talking, where were you?” he asked emotively.

“Those who are making noise, what are your records?”

He said the “animosity” within the party he left was too toxic, describing those who are leading this as his nephews and nieces and some his grandchildren.

Mr Kyerematen noted that at the age of 22 he was one of the managers at UAC and at that time a record for a Ghanaian, before later helping the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in an intitiative for businessmen across the African continent.

He also revealed that he was named as one of the Top 100 leaders of the world in 1994, among personalities who are current world leaders.

“Talk is cheap!” he fumed.
