A training workshop held yesterday for the Upper East and North East Regional Communication Teams in Bolgatanga and Nalerigu respectively, has been hailed as highly successful and impactful. Attendees were immersed in sessions designed to equip them with the necessary information and skills crucial for effectively communicating the messages of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leading up to the 2024 general elections.

In a move to bolster the capabilities of the Communication Officers within these regions, twenty-one (21) Constituency Communication Officers in the Upper East and North East regions each received a brand new motorcycle, while two (2) brand new laptops were provided for both regions. This initiative aims to enhance the mobility and reach of the communication officers, enabling them to efficiently disseminate the party’s messages to constituents in the lead-up to the elections.

Expressing gratitude for the support received, Sammy Gyamfi Esq., the National Communications Officer (NCO) of the NDC, extended sincere appreciation to various individuals who contributed to the success of the workshop. Special thanks were given to notable figures including the MP for Tamale South, Hon. Haruna Iddrissu, MP for Bolgatanga Central, Hon. Isaac Adongo, MP for Pusiga, Hon. Laadi Ayii Ayamba, as well as Comrade Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Comrade Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, Comrade Malik Basintale, Comrade Ako Gunn, Comrade Beatrice Annangfio, and Comrade Brogya Genfi, among others, for their insightful presentations and contributions.

Above all, Gyamfi expressed profound gratitude to H.E John Dramani Mahama, the flag-bearer and incoming President of the Republic of Ghana, for his unwavering support and guidance toward the Communications Bureau and the party at large.
The successful conclusion of the training workshop marks a significant step forward in the NDC’s preparations for the upcoming elections, with a well-equipped and informed communication team poised to effectively engage with voters across the Upper East and North East regions.
