NDC Savannah Region Empowers Communication Team in Inaugural Workshop

During its first-ever capacity-building workshop held at MKN & Grill (Kasha) in Damongo on Sunday, March 10, 2024, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Savannah Regional Communication Bureau took significant strides to enhance the skills and capabilities of its communication team.

Under the adept leadership of Hon John Abdulai Jinapor, Member of Parliament for Yapei/Kusawgu and Chairman of the Communications Committee, and the exceptional Vice Committee Chairperson, Hon Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, the workshop targeted constituency communication officers, deputy communication officers, selected constituency communicators, social media communicators, as well as executives of the Savannah Regional Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) and regional executives.

The primary aim of the workshop was to equip these members with essential skills and understanding to effectively represent the NDC across various media platforms.

Distinguished speakers, including Hon Joyce Mugtari Bawah Esq, National Communication Officer, and Hon Sammy Gyamfi Esq, Deputy National Communication Officer, delivered enlightening presentations on effective communication strategies. The session also saw contributions from notable figures such as Hon Malik Basintale and former Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Hon Felix Ofosu Kwakye.

In a move to bolster the bureau’s operations, Hon John Abdulai Jinapor presented a brand new Mitsubishi L200 Pick-Up, while a new HP laptop computer was donated by the Savannah regional branch of the professional forum.

Expressing gratitude to all attendees and speakers, the bureau extended special thanks to financial contributors, including Hon Joyce Mugtari Bawa, Hon Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, and Mr Osman Kitoe.

 

 

 

 

The Savannah Regional Communication Bureau pledged to utilize the provided logistics to secure a resounding victory for the NDC in the December 2024 elections. Additionally, the knowledge gained from the workshop will be instrumental in addressing the challenges faced by Ghana under the current administration.

The event saw the presence of distinguished guests, including former Minister for Agriculture, Hon Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, and parliamentary candidate for Damongo constituency, Hon Adam Mutawakilu.
