The Assemblyman for Esti Fawomany3 in the Ajumako Enyan Esiam District, Mr Kwame Baah has constructed ultra modern class room block and toilet facility for deprived children in the Area.
According to him, the building is to help ease schools under trees within the constituency.
Mr Baah detailed that is it unacceptable for school kids aged 7 to 8 years to walk for a distance to access education in the other communities which he’s sees as a very worrying venture hence the move to construct the classroom block for the children.
“As an Assemblyman it was a worrying situation for me to see kids trekking along distance to access education. So I forwarded my grievances to a Catholic priest Rev. Amoah Gyasi and lo and behold with the help of some White people we constructed the school for the kids”
According to him, the long distance these school kids trek to get access to education weakens their ability to grasp whatever the kids will be taught.
He added that, the classroom block was furnished with every educational equipments needed for teaching and learning to run smoothly.
He has Thus assured the people that he will do his possible best to remove the barriers faced by pupils within the area.
Members of the community commended the Assemblyman for the laudable initiative, commitment and contribution to the development of the area.
Mr Baah appealed to President Akuffo Addo and other stakeholders and philanthropists to be inspired by the initiative to contribute towards improving their lot thus to make education the priority.
“If not good quality education one cannot become a president, Lawyer, doctor, MP etc so the President ought to help eliminate schools under trees” he stressed
