Afia Pokuaa popularly known as Vim Lady has eulogized late Kwabena Kwakye of Oman FM following his death.
According to her it was Wofa KK as Kwabena Kwakye is affectionately called, who guided her in her early days as a journalist.
Vim Lady also revealed that Wofa KK used to call her and link her up with trips as part of government delegations.
She said it was only Kwabena Kwakye And Kwame Sefa Kayi who showed an interest in pushing for her to join trips to China, US amongst others although they don’t work in the same station.
“He will Say Afia there is a trip here. There is a delegation there come let’s go.. [He and Sefa Kayi] will show you who to see or what to do..” She said.
She mentioned some of the countries she visited as a result.

Wofa KK was an esteemed presenter of ‘Boiling Point,’ and a director of OMAN FM.
Kwabena Kwakye’s career in media extended to his valuable contributions as a panel member on the widely followed morning show program, ‘National Agenda,’ broadcasted on Oman FM.
Notably, he held the fort as the anchor on various occasions when the regular host, Fiifi Boafo, was unavailable,
Before his tenure at Oman FM, the late Kwabena Kwakye held significant positions as both Parliamentary and Presidential correspondent at Net2 TV and Oman FM.
His past collaborations included working alongside notable figures such as Professor Kofi Agyekum of Legon, Professor Kwesi Yankah, Mr. Kwabena Agyapong, and Hon. K.T. Hammond, who currently serves as the Trade Minister.
