Speaking at the University of Ghana Students Leadership Reflection Forum held in kumasi, Engr Dr E.A.Gyamera expressed worried about the way and manner the youth of now a day’s only looking for a white colour job after completion of school.
According to him, there are alot of opportunities in agriculture so he urged them to venture into agricultural as part of their studies whilst in school.
Ghana is blessed with a lot of resources but yet the youth complaints that there is no job in the country which is not true but rather lack of critical thinking.
Agriculture is the backbone of Ghana economic growth and development but because government failed to make it more attractive for the youth to venture into entrepreneurship so that they end something better for their livelihoods.
Mr Gyamera was optimistic that if go make it compulsory as part of the studies it help reduce unemployment rate in country.
The political parties have failed the youth most especially the tertiary institutions in the country.
