Your motorbikes will facilitate our engagement within the communities to deliver victory – Akowuah and Eric to Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi

The Bono Regional Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Charles Akowuah Tuffour and his Deputy, Mr Eric Adjei, have commended their boss, the National Communications Officer, for the National Democratic Congress, Mr Sammy Gyamfi Esq for his remarkable donation.

Mr Sammy Gyamfi Esq on Saturday, 3rd February, 2024 made a donation of twelve brand new jungle motorbikes and a number of brand new android phones to the Constituency Communication Officers and their Deputies.

The colourful presentation took place at the Regional Office of the Party in Sunyani.

Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi in his brief speech urged the Communication Officers and their Deputies to work together to build a vibrant communication team at the various constituencies in order to get our policies to everyone within the various communities. According to Sammy Gyamfi, engagement with people at the various communities is the most effective way of selling our policies to them for them to also appreciate how beneficial these policies announced by the Flagbearer of the NDC, HE John Dramani Mahama, will have in their lives.

The National Communications Officer, further entreated officers to organize frequent workshops for branch communication officers who are the mouthpiece of the NDC at the various branches. To Mr Sammy Gyamfi, the communication office will always work hand in hand with every officer to ensure effective and consistent communication across the country.

The National Chairman of the NDC, Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, acknowledged the huge impacts of communication towards the victory of the NDC in the upcoming general election in 2024 and further urged officers to work harder to achieve victory.

Mr Asiedu Nketiah in his view indicated that though the NDC is far ahead of their main opponent in terms of communication, members must never be swayed off by this feast until victory is announced at the end of the elections.

Nana Okyei Baffour Kwame, the Communication Officer for Sunyani West and chairman of the Welfare Committee, together with Mr Sarfo Stephen, Communication Officer for Dormaa West and Dean for the Officers, received the donations on behalf of their colleague officers.

The Dean of the Officers, Sarfo Stephen, praised the National Communications Officer for honouring his promise made to them at the Regional Communications Workshop in Sunyani on 16th December, 2023 and renewed their commitment to put the items in proper use to obtain the maximum benefits.

Present at the brief ceremony were the Bono Regional Chairman, Ambassador Kwadwo Nyamekye-Marfo, the Regional Secretary, Mr Dennis Yeboah Twumasi, the Regional Treasurer, Amponsah Badu Ike and a host of other Regional Executives.

The Regional Communication Officer, Mr Charles Akowuah Tuffour, on behalf of the Communication Officers, expressed appreciations to the National Communications Officer and promised to collaborate with him to ensure that they put in extra effort to deliver victory in the Bono Region.

BONO REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE

Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi,
The National Communications Officer,
National Democratic Congress,
Accra.

Dear Boss,

LETTER OF APPRECIATION

On behalf of the twelve Communication Officers and their Deputy Communication Officers in Bono, the Regional Communications Office would humbly take this unique opportunity to thank you for donating twelve (12) brand new jungle type motorbikes and thirty (30) brand new android mobile phones to our Officers and Deputies respectively, for effective local community base communications as well as a laptop to the Regional Communications Office.

These donations have come at the time that the Regional Communications Office has urged the various Officers to often mobilise and offer training for branch communication officers and regular callers and as well embark on community base engagement with the people, including other identifiable groups within each constituency and for that matter, your timeous donations of these motorbikes will undoubtedly facilitates our movements for effective outreach and a successful outcome.

Aside the Bono Region having several communities detached from the various district capitals, most roads linking these communities are unmotorable, making motorbikes in most instances, the only available option and that these donations will have a huge impact on our assignment towards victory 2024. We never could have made this possible without your undying support.

We thank you once again for your timeous donations and pledge to put them into good use for their intended purposes. Together, we will work to spread our messages of hope across all the communities within the Bono Region towards victory 2024 and beyond.

Signed
Charles Akowuah Tuffour
