Raphael Agyapong pulled a paltry 181 votes as against incumbent Member of Parliament and Minister Minister of Works and Housing, Francis Assenso Boakye, who garnered 650 votes.
Prior to the contest, Kennedy Agyapong stormed Bantama and waged a malicious campaign against the sitting MP, accusing him of looting state properties, including state lands and government bungalows.
He urged Bantama delegates to vote for his inexperienced and loose-talker-brother, whose track record in the NPP is unknown.
Saturday’s contest brings to question the so-called popularity and authority of Kennedy Agyapong in NPP as he as ALWAYS touted.
All attempts by The Pokuase Mail to speak with the heavily defeated Parliamentary Aspirant and his loudmouth brother proved futile.
