Mahama visits Sheik Abdulahi Maikano Family

The former President and flagbearer of the NDC, H.E John Dramani Mahama yesterday visited the family of Sheikh Abdulahi Maikano (RTA) and the Tijjaniya Muslim Council in Parai in honour of an invitation extended to him for the Annual Quran Recitation which would be held next week. Receiving the former President on behalf of Khalifa Abul Faid were Sheikh Nasrullahi, Sheik Ibrahim Anyars Jallo and Sheik Ridwan Jallo and others.

They prayed and expressed gratitude to the former President for making time to visit the household of the venerable Sheikh Abdulahi Maikano. They beseeched from Allah to bless HE John Mahama and grant him his wish.

The former President was accompanied by the National Chairman, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia; Bono East Regional Chairman, Mr Unas Owusu; the Parliamentary Candidate for Pru West as well as some Regional and Constituency Executives.

The enthusiastic crowd who gathered at the residence of the Jallos in anticipation of H.E. John Mahama’s visit could not hide their admiration for him.
