I’ll be surprised if Ken Agyapong gets 20% – Majority Leader on NPP Primaries

The Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has predicted the probable outcome of Saturday’s New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primaries, particularly regarding Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s performance.

“I will be surprised if Kennedy Agyapong gets even 20% in the presidential primaries,” the Suame Member of Parliament said about his colleague.

The leader of the Majority side in Parliament who took his turn on M’abato, Akoma FM‘s evening political show, also stated, “Kennedy Agyapong would not even get 15% in the Ashanti Region.”

The seven-time lawmaker says Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s economic acumen is unquestionable and that he is the right person to change the economic situation.

Over 200,000 delegates are expected to decide on four candidates as the ruling party chooses a flagbearer for the 2024 general election.

Some polls have put the Vice President ahead with a colossal percentage.
