I attended a Memorial Service for our late sister and mother, Dr. Hanny-Sherry Ayittey, in Chicago on Friday.
To say we are devastated by her passing is an understatement.
The loss of Sherry is deeply felt by all those who knew her. She was a good friend, sister, colleague, mother and grandmother.
Even though she is no longer with us, Lordina and I will continue to carry her legacy of compassion in memory of her beautiful soul.
