The audacity of arresting and brutally handling innocent Ghanaian youth, who were merely exercising their democratic right to protest against the corrupt and nepotistic Nana Addo/Bawumia administration, is nothing short of an outrageous travesty! The Ghana police service appears to be operating with unchecked impunity, and it’s utterly infuriating to witness such a flagrant disregard for justice!
The Ghana police service’s shameful descent into lawlessness and high-level indiscipline is an affront to the very core of our democracy, and it must be vehemently condemned! Their actions are a direct insult to the fundamental principles of justice that our nation stands for!
The Vice President Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia cannot escape accountability for bringing Ghana’s economy to its knees as the head of the Economic Management Team, leading to severe economic hardships, and then expect Ghanaians to remain silent!
Even more maddening is the fact that Vice President Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia, the architect of these hardships, also presides over the police council, which has shamefully become a tool of lawlessness!
It’s beyond exasperating that they first subject us to these hardships and then use the police to unlawfully arrest and brutalize us!
But what adds an infuriating layer to this injustice is the police seizing the phones of these peaceful protesters!
Mr. Akuffo Dampare, as the IGP, it’s high time you woke up and restored some semblance of sanity and respect for the rule of law within the Ghana police service!
Release them now!
