Embattled Chief Executive Officer of defunct Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah also known as NAM1 has arrived at the Financial Division of the High Court in Accra ahead of fresh charges.
The latest charge sheet preferred a total of 39 counts against NAM1, his firms Menzgold Company Limited and Brew Marketing Consult Limited.
He had earlier made 36 appearances at the Circuit Court without trial prior to the latest charges filed by the State in the over GHc1.6B customers funds saga.
Currently, NAM1 and his lawyers led by Lawyer Kwame Akuffo have all arrived awaiting the case to be called.
Deputy Attorney General, Alfred Tuah Yeboah and Director of Public Prosecution, Mrs Yvonne Atakora Obuobisa are also present for the state.
EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah, who is at the Court is reporting that, Justice Ernest Owusu-Dapaah, a Justice of the Court of Appeal will preside over the case with an additional responsibility as a High Court judge.
