MP for Banda and Deputy Minority Whip Graces The Commissioning of a Division Two Club in Banda-Bongase

In a remarkable display of community spirit and leadership, the Member of Parliament for Banda and Deputy Minority Whip was honored with an invitation to the grand commissioning of a Division Two football club in the heart of Banda-Bongase, nestled within the Banda constituency. This momentous occasion not only marked the birth of the Adonteng FC but also provided the MP an ideal platform to share wisdom and underline the significance of nurturing burgeoning talent in the world of football.

In a way of showing gratitude to the unsung heroes, the MP, in his address, took a moment to express his heartfelt gratitude. He extended his thanks to the event organizers, the diligent team management, the venerable Chief and elders of the Bongase Traditional Council, the steadfast Bongase community, and every stakeholder who had wholeheartedly contributed to the formation of Adonteng FC. It was their unwavering support and dedication that had turned a dream into reality.

Addressing audience, the focal point of the MP’s presentation was his profound advice to the aspiring football talents of Adonteng FC. He emphasized the paramount importance of discipline, humility, and relentless hard work in the journey of a footballer. The MP reminded the players that their footballing prowess was a divine gift, and with dedication and the right attitude, they could ascend to great heights.

Moreover, he counselled the players to remain unwaveringly committed to their training regimen, and he stressed the importance of respecting the team’s management, coach, and anyone involved in honing their skills. This reverence for authority figures would serve as a solid foundation for their future success.

Turning his attention to the parents, friends, and families of the players, the MP encouraged them to provide unflinching support. He underscored the lucrative nature of football as a profession, emphasizing that with the right nurturing, their sons could achieve remarkable success in one of the most financially rewarding careers in the world today. The selfless Member of Parliament for the good people of Banda, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, reinstated that money acquired in participating in a single international tournament can change the life of all the people of Banda including his good self and hence a reason why he will support this project this project with every fiber of life he has to ensure the smooth running of the club.

In an awe-inspiring display of commitment, the Member of Parliament announced a significant financial contribution of Five thousand Ghana cedis towards the registration of the club. This financial support was a testament to his dedication to alleviating the initial challenges faced by the team.

Furthermore, he charged the club’s management with the task of identifying suitable land for the construction of a standard grass park that could accommodate various sporting disciplines. This move aimed to provide the players with a top-notch training ground, thereby enhancing their skills and capabilities.

The MP reassured Adonteng FC of his unwavering support in ensuring the club’s smooth operation. He went a step further, pledging his readiness to provide them with a bus to facilitate their movement beyond Bongase, their home base. This gesture was met with resounding applause and appreciation from the organizers of the event, the players of Adonteng FC, and the club’s management.

The closing remarks was all melted with joy as the organizers, management, members of the Bongase community present and some key opinion leaders present were overwhelmed with the MP’s constant commitment to the growth and development talents and the personal growth of individuals in the entire Banda district. The Chairman of the event, further stated that, the MP’s involvement and support served as an inspiring example of how public servants can actively engage with their constituents and invest in the dreams of the next generation.
