The Sunyani East Communication Director for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr Maxwell Mahama has revealed what he describes as ”the true character” of Abronye, the Bono Regional Chairman of his party.
The Sunyani East NPP Communication Director made this revelation on Monday, 4th September, 2023 on an evening political program dubbed the battle ground on an Accra base Power 97.9 Fm.
Mr Maxwell Mahama, who described his Regional Chairman, Abronye, as someone without any integrity, urged his fellow patriots not to pay any attention to the rants by Abronye.
According to Maxwell Mahama, Abronye, haven’t failed four consecutive times in his professional law entrance exams now claims to be a lawyer.
The Sunyani East NPP Communication Director disclosed that Abronye is known for his cunning tactics which he engages in to make a living.
”You have failed on three occasions to pass your entrance exams into the professional law school; after writing the fourth one, you go around claiming you are a lawyer. I beg of those in Accra, that Abronye is not someone who you should call to appease him with money for insulting you.
Mr Maxwell Mahama continued that ”what is Abronye saying? He has a tactics which I will disclose it today. He always want to incite the grassroots against the leadership of the party or people who have been appointed by the government but you don’t know and the grassroots don’t also know.
Maxwell Mahama, who was obviously shocked at the behavior of Abronye alleged that ”he uses our name to come to Accra, to solicit for money to make a living. Abronye DC uses our name – Bono Region, to come to Accra to solicit for money for his personal gains”.
When the host, Oheneba Boamah Bennie interjected on this allegation about his Regional Chairman, Maxwell Mahama said ”what work does Abronye do to make a living? I have been asking this question for years but know one has been able to answer me on this” he does not work.
Maxwell Mahama further disclosed that Abronye has a 4×4 Prado and a C class Mercedes Benz yet he always portrayed to the grassroots that he has never made any gains in the party. Again, Abronye, who claims not to have benefitted from the party, bought a three bedroom house from someone, razed it down to construct a huge building on the same plot with his fence wall higher than that of the Flagstaff house, he stated.
