NPP Does Not Need Ashanti Votes But Rather Northern Votes So We Need Dr Bawumia- Sammy Awuku Fires On Metro TV

NPP DOES NOT NEED ASHANTI VOTES BUT RATHER NORTHERN VOTES SO WE NEED DR.BAWUMIA-SAMMY AWUKU FIREs ON METRO TV.

The Chief Executive Officer of the NLA who has abandoned the position and busily embarking on mission impossible to get the Vice President elected as the flagbearer of the NPP,made a sacrilegious statement that got the Npp fraternity having a second look at the young man.

Sammy Awuku who was hosted on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana by Paul Adom Otchere was responding to the reasons why the Vice President should be made the flagbearer.As unconvincing as he could sound,no Patriot of the party anticipated he could easily disrespect the hen that lays the golden egg for the party to win power which is the Ashanti region in such an infantile manner.

When asked by the host why the NPP will not settle on Mr.Alan Kyerematen who is the front runner in this election to consolidate the stronghold of the party which is the Ashanti region,the NLA boss told NPP fraternity that they should vote for the Vice President because he has increased the number of seats held by the NPP in the Northern region.

At this point,texters into the program were taking aback as to whether the supporters of the Vice President were actually serious with politics.

In election 2020,but for the benevolence of the Ashanti region,the NPP by now would have been going into election 2024 as an opposition party.President Akufo Addo lost by 405,000 votes in the entire five northern regions and made a net gain of more than a million votes in the Ashanti region.It is therefore a slap in the face when the campaign coordinator of the Vice President tells NPP delegates to ignore the importance of the Ashanti region and focus on the Northern region.

Meanwhile a group calling itself Patriots of Ashanti region have expressed their disappointment in the former Youth Organiser and have assured him that if this is how he thinks,the delegates in the NPP who knows how the party wins elections will show he Sammi Awuku and his candidate that they do not wash their face bottom-up.The group believes such ungrateful characters must not have any place in our national discourse.
