We’ve not suspended women organizer in Kumawu – Ashanti NDC

The National Democratic Congress in the Ashanti region has debunked publications of suspending a women’s organizer in Kumawu Constituency.

In a statement the Ashanti Regional Secretary, Dr. Frank Amoakohene stated that the publication made by the Chronicle newspaper and subsequently republished by some other media outlets to the effect that the NDC has suspended women’s organizer for Kumawu is false.

Mr. Amoakohene described the publications as malicious.

“I also want to put on record that the said name (Akua Afriyie) which is linked to the story does not exist in any of our records as a party women’s organizer or party executive either at the branch, constituency or regional level,” the Ashanti Regional Secretary, Dr. Frank Amoakohene stated.
