The Executive Director of Media Foundation for West Africa, Sulemana Braimah has consistently maintained that Good Evening Ghana show on metro TV is a comedy show for its fantasy content which is short of supportive facts and far away from the realities confronting the everyday Ghanaian.
In 2021, The Executive Director of Media Foundation For West Africa tweeted that Good Evening Ghana Show is now his favourite comedy show surpassing Kweku Sintim Misa’s comedy show.
“My favourative comedy TV programme used to be KSM show. Now, It’s Good Evening Ghana”
On the subject of Cecilia Dapaah’s stolen millions, the host of the show, Mr. Paul Adom Otchere, narrated an unbelievable story about how Cecilia Dapaah came by the “$1m 300,000 Euros and the rest of the cash allegedly stolen by her house-helps.
“When he died Cecilia Dapaah’s mother called Cecilia Dapaah that the brother had left $800,000 and I think I should let you have it. So Cecilia carried 800,000 dollars from the village to Accra. The $800,000 was described to police as belonging to Cecilia Dapaah’s late brother” Mr. Adom-Otchere stated on his show
In an incredible family telltale best described by cartoonist Tilapia below;
So unbelievable was the story that Mr. Adom Otchere angered a section of the public for insulting their intelligence and others found the funny side of his story telling. Sulemana Braimah is part of the later group.
The details of the Good Evening Ghana show on Cecilia Dapaah is now a subject of a lawsuit.
The widow of the late brother of Cecilia Dapaah, is now demanding that Madam Cecilia Dapaah return to her the $800,000 as stated by Paul Adom Otchere as belonging to her late husband.
Up until the airing of that episode of Good Evening Ghana, the Widow had no idea her late husband had $800,000. She has therefore engaged a lawyer to claim the $800,000 for her.
“I hear the wife of Auntie Ceci’s late brother says she didn’t know her late husband had some USD800,000 which was being kept by Aunti Ceci, so she is coming for it. When she gets it, she will have to pay a commission to the host of the best comedy show for his role in all this” Sulemana wrote on his twitter page
The posturing of Sulemana Braimah is to tell Ghanaians not to take serious anything they see on Good Evening Ghana which is ironically supposed to be a serious current affairs show.
