The National Communication Officer for NDC, Sammy Gyamfi is alleging that the move by the wife of deceased brother of the former Minister for Sanitation, Cecilia Dapaah could be an attempt to cover up facts by the Attorney General.
Irene Kensah, the wife of the deceased brother of former Minister of Sanitation, Cecilia Dapaah has instructed her lawyers to file for the retrieval of her late husband’s part of the $1 million dollars stolen from her residence.
The widow said she became aware of the said money through a broadcast by the host Metro TV Good Evening Ghana show, Paul Adom-Otchere.
Commenting on the development, the National Communication Officer of the NDC says he suspects the move is a cover up.
“The latest revelation by the wife of the deceased brother of Cecilia Dapaah is the smoking gun that shows clearly that the AG’s advice on the Cecilia Dapaah scandal is contrived and an unintelligent attempt to coverup the true facts of the case which has outraged the entire nation.
“Lies indeed have a short life span,” Mr. Sammy Gyamfi stated in a tweet.
