The Omanhene and President of Dormaa Traditional Area and the President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, His Royal Majesty Osagyefo Oseadeyo Dr Agyemang Badu || has led another massive clean up exercise at Suma Ahenkro.
The historic clean up exercise was organized on Friday, 4th August, which was also a public holiday to mark the Founders’ Day in Ghana.
The exercise, which can be described as the longest hours of cleaning, started at Japekrom through to Suma Ahenkro and its principal streets and environs.
The clean up exercise, which saw Dormaahene in the lead, started in the morning and ended up around 4:50pm in the late afternoon on the main Sampa road.
Most people who participated in this exercise praised Dormaahene for leading such a great initiative and called on other chiefs and opinion leaders to emulate the selfless leadership of Osagyefo Oseadeyo Dr Agyemang Badu || for his ambassadorial role as sanitation advocate to get our environment clean.
Masemtvgh in a brief interaction with Nana Badu Fremah revealed that Oseadeyo Oseadeyo Dr Agyemang Badu || has embarked on series of clean up exercises in most towns and communities that fall under the Dormaa Traditional Area.
”Osagyefo Oseadeyo Dr Agyemang Badu || initiated this clean up exercise few years ago and his vision is to ensure that areas under the Dormaa Traditional Area are clean from rubbish and filth to prevent diseases such as cholerae, malaria and other related diseases.
Nana Badu Fremah, who is in her 70s expressed joy to be part of the exercise to clean up towns and communities within the Dormaa Traditional Area and advised the residents at Japekrom and Suma Ahenkro to take charge of their environment and ensure that no one litters around.
